2021 - A Year in Review - Content and Teaching
I doubled down on teaching and creating meaningful content this year.
I started a YouTube channel - Playbooks - and put out 31 videos this year. Hoping to continue this in 2022 and beyond. The focus is on creating actionable playbooks for product builders (including mental models and useful books).
I ran two cohorts with mid-career product managers working in India, SEA and the US. I'm so thankful to the PMs who trusted me and all the friends who showed up as guest speakers. Hoping to conduct at least 4 more cohorts next year.
Started a new podcast with my friend - Harsha Kumar - Path2PMF. We recorded the first two episodes this year (along with a live webinar).

(1/6) #Path2PMF -> Drumroll for our speaker reveal! Sign up at https://t.co/n53kj2zsbv for the first Path2PMF Fireside with @gaganbiyani on 28th October at 8 PM IST and read along to learn more about him & his journey so far. https://t.co/A6FT6zUpLlWriting did take a back seat in the second half of this year. Hoping to complete the essays in my Story Stack series next year (feels like web3 will be an integral part of this). Some decent posts on product roadmaps, MVPs and breaking into PM.
I also appeared in a number of podcasts and took a bunch of masterclasses.
Prime Venture Partners Podcast
PM School - How to Product
Behind the Scenes - Kalaari Podcast
Teaching and creating content are very much part of the mix for 2022. I’m planning to:
double down on the YT channel
create meaningful courses for people trying to break into product management and existing PMs looking to scale up
write more regularly
Looking forward to 2022!
